As described in the chapter on the rule of thirds, the composition has well-defined rules that help the photographer to the scene to give the right expression that would otherwise be missed.

Of course, I repeat again, these rules are not absolute, in fact they may be broken depending on what kind of effect or what kind of story you want to express. This depends on the sensitivity and creativity of the one who takes these frames.

Contrary to what is said in the chapter mentioned above, there are cases where you can place your subject in the center of the frame. This, however, must be done in such a way as not to minimize the result that one has in mind, in fact, an object placed at the center by, is, a sense of harmony as placed in a position of absolute domination, but at the same time could also give a effect of banality to the photo.

E 'for this reason that if you choose an option like this is good to see if there are grounds for "symmetry" in our shooting. Indeed, they not only restore harmony but sometimes give an effect of depth, sometimes a guide for the eye that observes, sometimes both cases simultaneously.

In fact, if we think a long way in the desert that stretches for several kilometers and we ask ourselves when shooting in the middle of it riprendeendola to its full extent and then we put a man on a motorcycle in front of us, then we will have not only a subject principal place right in the middle of our box but the eye will follow the entire line that delineates the road as an imaginary journey, giving dynamism to the whole scene.

In key landscapes, you should, if possible, place the horizon line one third of the frame so you can bring out this detail and give balance and peace to the whole scene.
