Le regole fondamentali della composizione, la regola dei terzi.

Essenzialmente ogni volta che inquadriamo il nostro soggetto il dilemma è sempre lo stesso; dove posizionarlo? Perfettamente al centro, laterale, nel margine superiore o quello inferiore? Beh a questa domanda c'è una risposta anche se non definitiva, in quanto legata al modo di vedere e di esprimersi del fotografo.

Per prima cosa è bene sapere che questa regola, anche se molto semplice, può essere interpretata in molteplici modi, darò qui solo una spiegazione generale dell'argomento.

Immaginiamo di trovarci di fronte un bellissimo paesaggio con montagne, vallate, case ed alberi, il nostro sguardo sicuramente sarà colpito da uno o più soggetti in particolare permettendoci già di eseguire una valutazione di cosa è più o meno rilevante inserire nella nostra fotografia. Immaginiamo, ancora, di suddividere il nostro schermo in nove rettangoli uguali formati dalla congiunzione di due linee verticali e di due linee orizzontali.

I punti di intersezione di tali linee ci indicano quattro posizioni di massima dove inserire il nostro o i nostri soggetti principali.

Questo vuol dire che se, tornando all'esempio precedente, consideriamo le montagne il soggetto principale ed esse si trovano a sinistra del nostro fotogramma, allora sarà bene posizionarle o nell'intersezione sinistra superiore oppure nell'intersezione sinistra inferiore.

Questa è una scelta totalmente personale che potrà essere effettuata anche con soggetti quali persone, animali ecc ecc...

In poche parole seguire le linee di fuga e scegliere una posizione del soggetto non perfettamente centrale, la maggior parte delle volte, si rivela la scelta migliore, ma avremo modo di approfondire tutto ciò in seguito.

Imagine we are in front of a beautiful landscape with mountains, valleys, houses and trees, our eyes will surely be affected by one or more persons in particular already allowing us to make an assessment of what is more or less important place in our photography. Imagine, again, to divide our screen into nine equal rectangles formed by the conjunction of two vertical lines and two horizontal lines.

The points of intersection of these lines will indicate four positions where maximum insert our or our main subjects.

This means that if, back to the previous example, we consider the mountains the main subject and they are located on the left of our frame, then it will be good to place them in the intersection or the upper left or lower left in the intersection.

This is a totally personal choice that can also be done with subjects such as people, animals, etc etc ...

In short, follow the lines of flight and choose a subject position not perfectly central, most of the time, it reveals the best choice, but we will investigate everything later.
